Syd La Faber

Syd La Faber‘I realised from an early age that as a south east kid from back blocks I wasn’t going to make it as the ‘next James Dean’. Decided to pursue an artistic career in the thriving metropolis of Kingston-upon-Hull. Spent the entire time in Yorkshire studying the fine art of British brew but somehow ended up with a piece of paper that said I could draw, paint and even teach. After 35 years I had to accept that teaching was ‘not me’ and now trying to find the ‘real me’ making dirty marks on paper.’
