Requiem Exhibition at Gallery One Mitcham

Feeling alone? Share the isolation fun with Gallery One – at home, in bed, on the lounge, with chip crumbs and chocolate silver! Our ultra, most inappropriately named Life@Death  – Requiem exhibition is currently on the walls of the Gallery, looking very hale and hearty. Sanya, Gallery One’s intrepid Co-ordinator will be working with Rod the wonderful web wizard to bring images of this exhibition on-line for you to share in your space with our artists, so please share these images with us.

In the atrium, Dieter Engler’s glorious witness of the Australian landscape is there to distance your mind and take you away to places of contemplation and wonder.

Some classes at Gallery One remain up and running – observing all health protocols. We have delayed our community loo-roll manufacturing classes due to unprecedented demand. Watch this space – all year.

Life drawing is going ahead on Mondays and Fridays, Quilting, oil painting and drawing with Julie Arnott, afternoon knitting with Leanne Gould, Brownowls and Open Studio on Wednesday are all happening but can change at a moment’s notice. We will keep you informed on-line. For those looking for company and coffee try Open Studio on Wednesdays. It is as you like it: byo art/craft gear.
