Exhibition Opening – MINDFIELDS – by Chris White

Gallery One is privileged to be able to represent CHRIS WHITE in the first public showing of his work.

Chris White, union leader and political activist, has had a secret life for many decades as an artist. Now, he wants to share it with you and all of his friends and is pleased to invite you to the opening of this ground-breaking exhibition.

This will be a night to celebrate Chris’ creative energy and to tread, with him, all the ground he has trodden on his life’s journey, from a different and sometimes surprising perspective. There will be drinks and nibbles, plenty of time to talk, and not too many long-winded speeches – the night is Chris’ night with his art.

Works will be for sale.

Chris White is a local Mitcham boy, attended Mitcham Primary School, Unley High School and the University of Adelaide. Chris was a member of the Students’ Union, Chair of Junction Theatre in Adelaide and involved in the establishment of Timor-Leste.
