He studied Biology and Geology at university and he belongs to a volunteer group called the Scientific Expedition Group (SEG) that does biological surveys for the SA database. During his time on these surveys, he is able to sketch and photograph flora and fauna and well as the landscape.
He started painting in the 70’s after coming to Australia from his home country Canada. His first painting exhibition was in Canberra after going down the Franklin River. Since then , he has had regular exhibitions in Darwin and Adelaide during SALA. His fifth Solo exhibition at Gallery One was in Feb 2015 called “Arkaroola and Beyond “.
