Gallery One acknowledges that we are meeting on the traditional Country of the Kaurna people and pays respect to Kaurna Elders past, present and emerging.

We recognise and respect their cultural heritage, beliefs and relationship with the land. We acknowledge that they are of continuing importance to the Kaurna people living today. We also extend that respect to other Aboriginal Language Groups and other First Nations.

Art and Music Nights at the Gallery

KIAH LANGAN and TYLER VENTER 14 April 7-9pm

Jazz graduate Kiah Lanagan, accompanied by Tyler Venter on the guitar, will perform jazz standards repertoire with class, style and edge.

About Kiah

Kiah has a versatile vocal style range and an original and interesting approach to both her performance and composition/song writing.

Trained under vocal instructors of the highest regard, she graduated from the Adelaide Conservatorium’s Jazz Performance Degree in 2020.

Her experience is as rich as it is varied, having performed in various genres and settings, locally and nationally for more than 10 years. She has shared stages with Australian artists of high regard, Courtney Barnett, Saskwatch, Last Dinosaurs and Jeremy Neale to name a few.

She has just returned from this years SXSW in Austin Texas, where she was invited to showcase her 60’s/90’s inspired Dream Pop original music collaboration with Jakub Tengdahl: ‘DEAN FOREVER’.

Kiah will be accompanied by Tyler Venter, local guitarist and composer (Stormhorse).

Artist in Rresidence: Darrreen Siwes (b 1968, Aelaide, South Australia) is an Australian artist. He is of Indigenous and Dutch descent.

He completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Hons), (1996) and a Graduate Diploma of Education (1997) at the University of South Australia.
